Since the launch of Campaign 4, recently appointed game master Brennan Mulligan has maintained audience suspense with rich lore, a colorful mix of personalities, and a thrilling plot featuring divine entities, fiends, and malevolent powers expanding in strength within the city.

Note: Revealing details for the latest installment of this adventure are included.

The Warrior Group Unveiled

Episode 3 finished on a major cliffhanger and presented the premier party of heroes who will split off from the central cast to begin their own adventure, apart from the remaining groups.

This warrior group consists of the determined fighter (portrayed by Travis), Thimble (the talented performer), the fierce warrior (the cast member), Wicander Halovar (Sam), and the mysterious adventurer (the actor).

Dividing the Cast

Given 13 cast members, it was evident from the outset that having everyone at a single group would be impossible.

Hence, the opening chapters of Campaign 4 serve as an Prelude, weaving together the individual narratives before dividing into three distinct groups: Warriors, Strategists, and Questers.

The Nature of the Warrior Group

According to Brennan Lee Mulligan, the warrior group is for participants who enjoy a classically intense fight-heavy story mode where diplomatic options are scarce.

Upon first impression, figures such as the squeamish cleric Wicander Halovar might appear unsuited, but the events of the third episode make it clear why these specific adventurers are best suited for the Soldiers table.

Why They Must Go

To begin with, the team has a clear idea where to head next after a intense first encounter with the antagonists.

A former ally of Thjazi—whose death started the campaign’s events—used The Crow Keepers for his selfish purposes, entering the secret base, striking the character, and swiping all the enchanted items to sell off.

Casimir then cleared his debts and fled to a secure base in the remote area, above the urban center, with Teor’s brother pursuing him.

Character Drivers

Additionally, each character has a specific drive to depart Dol-Makjar:

  • Thimble, as Thjazi’s partner and best friend, wants vengeance.
  • Kattigan knows the northern area and advises that it is a hostile environment.
  • The warrior and The healer, having defied his family’s wishes to eliminate the target and instead freed him, have no safe haven.
  • But, their status as key figures in House Halovar could enable the team reach areas they usually can’t.
  • Furthermore, Teor pledged a eternal obligation to Wicander for his salvation and will now accompany him anywhere.

Pursued by Authorities

In addition, all of them are wanted by the powers that rule the city for a multiple motives, making staying in the city no longer safe:

  • The rogue and Kattigan are notorious outlaws.
  • The warrior and The healer defied the influential house and the legion of demons they are aligned with.
  • Teor is wanted dead by the clan.

This means them few options but to head to the remote area in search of Casimir.

Future Episodes

From episode three’s Cooldown, we learn that the Soldiers table will not appear in the upcoming installment, leaving the remaining eight participants to round up the Explorers and Planners groups.

Viewers can look forward to finding out which adventurers will be assigned to which table in the season’s final introductory chapter, released on the upcoming Thursday.
